SHOW PAX-120 Amplifier
Description
The PAX series offers three models of mixers / amplifiers designed for commercial applications. All models include a multi-source player, a mixing console for five input lines and a Class D amplifier module with a power of 60 W, 120 W or 240 W, which can supply an audio signal to low and high impedance loads. Thanks to Class-D technology, the sources, mixing and amplification are contained in one 1U rack unit. The devices can be used in small control rooms or in low-ventilation environments, making them an ideal solution for bars, restaurants, retail stores, office buildings and other applications where paging and background music are required.
Four monaural inputs are available on the combined balanced XLR / TRS 6.35 mm connectors. For each input, the switch selects the line or microphone signal level with the option of a 24 V phantom power supply. For the Aux stereo input, both channels are added to a monaural signal. The microphone connected to input 1 can automatically mute other sound sources; the function is activated by a microphone signal. Signal priority can also be activated by a potential-free contact or an external test / warning signal.
The PAX series is equipped with an MP3 USB-SD player for BGM or recorded messages. The BGM module also includes an FM and Bluetooth FM tuner. We can connect a load with an impedance of 4 Ω to the output power part, but it is also possible to connect a high-impedance load requiring a voltage of 70 V and 100 V. The PAX 120 amplifier can also work with a 24 V DC supply voltage, eg from a backup source.
